Why is a lottery system used?

Can I register for multiple days/timeslots?
Yes, you may submit multiple applications. However, only one ticket may be selected per person. Even if multiple applications are selected, the purchase limit is one box per person, so you will only be able to purchase one box.

Can I pick up my box at a different time than my assigned time slot?
No. Check-in is only available during your assigned time slot, so please make sure to visit the store during your designated time to pick up your box.

I won a ticket but cannot pick it up. Can someone else pick it up for me?
No. Only the ticket holder may make the purchase. To verify identity, you must bring your QR code and a valid ID for identification.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
No, tickets are non-transferable.

Can I purchase other new products releasing on June 12 in addition to OP-16?

Yes. However, all purchases are subject to product availability. If items sell out, they will no longer be available for purchase.

Can I purchase newly released products without a ticket during the release period?
No. On June 12, June 13, and June 14, only customers with a ticket will be able to purchase newly released products. Customers without a ticket will not be able to purchase these products.

Can I purchase non-release window products during the release period?

This depends on the store location. Please see the details below:

Stores limiting sales to ticket holders during the release period (newly released products only)

Only customers with a ticket may make purchases during the release period.

  • San Jose, CA
  • San Francisco, CA

Stores allowing customers without tickets to purchase non–release window products during the release period

Customers without tickets may purchase non–release window products, butticket holders will be given priority in line.

  • Cincinnati, OH

Stores allowing purchases after the final time slot each day during the release period

Customers without tickets may purchase non–release window products after the final time slot each day. Newly released products will only be sold to customers with a ticket.

I forgot to claim my ticket. What should I do?

If you forgot to claim your ticket, your right to purchase OP-16 and other newly released products during the release period will be invalidated.

Can I purchase any newly released products that remain unsold after June 14?
